Overview

The report describes Petra's FY 2012 sustainability performance across its mining operations, including a workforce of 5,575 people, Group safety metrics and fatality disclosures, total carbon emissions of 476,551 tonnes CO2 equivalent, and approximately US$3.3 million invested in corporate social initiatives. It also documents the implementation of Group environmental and health and safety policies, expanded energy and emissions monitoring, and community development projects in South Africa, Tanzania, and Botswana.
