Environmental Report

Overview

The report presents Petrol's 2005-2007 environmental programme across service stations, fuel depots, wastewater, waste management, cleaner fuels and efficient-energy projects. It reports that 99% of planned environmental projects were realised during the period, while Level-1 closed loading systems covered 100% of service stations by 2007. Water treatment results were also highlighted, with more than 98% of controlled wastewater-treatment-plant effluents described as adequate. The report additionally documents operating 2007 CHP projects, including 3,300 MWh of electricity and 5,500 MWh of heat production at Unior.
