Overview

The report describes Petrobras' 2011 sustainability performance across its global operations. It reports 56.2 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions, total energy consumption of 682,827 terajoules and freshwater collection of 190.9 million m3. The Petrobras System closed the year with 81,918 employees and reported 16 workforce fatalities, including employees and service provider employees. The report also sets voluntary 2015 targets against 2009 for energy efficiency, gas flaring and greenhouse-gas emissions intensity.
