Overview

The report presents Piraeus Group's 2021 ESG strategy across ESG literacy, operational footprint, products and services, and corporate performance. It includes the Group's first EU Taxonomy disclosures and describes participation in major sustainability initiatives, including the UN Global Compact and TCFD recommendations. Deloitte provided limited assurance over specified GRI disclosures and reasonable assurance over the Materiality Principle. Environmental reporting includes 2,840.37 tonnes CO2eq of Scope 1 emissions, 21,348.36 tonnes CO2eq of location-based Scope 2 emissions and 45,344.00 m3 of water consumption.
