The report is Bashneft's first Sustainability Report and covers the 2009 calendar year. The company reports more than 1.2 billion rubles invested in social infrastructure, including educational and healthcare facilities in Bashkortostan. Environmental highlights include an 85.7 percent associated petroleum gas utilization rate and recycling and utilization of 36.4 thousand tons of sludge against 30.3 thousand tons generated.
