Overview

The report describes the company's 2006 electricity and heat production and its associated environmental impacts. Total electricity supply was 17.9 TWh and heat supplies to shareholders reached 4.8 TWh. Thermal power emissions included 6.4 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, 6.4 thousand tonnes of sulphur dioxide, 11.3 thousand tonnes of nitrogen oxides and 517 tonnes of particles. The report also describes certified ISO 14001 environmental management systems and reuse of 73% of 397 thousand tonnes of ash, bottom ash and desulphurization gypsum by-products.
