Sustainability Report

The report describes Polyus's 2021 sustainability performance across climate, energy, environmental stewardship and social topics. The company reported that 100% of its energy consumption came from renewable sources and disclosed Scope 3 emissions of 1,464 kt CO2-e for the first time. It rehabilitated 1,640 ha of land and generated 378.82 million tons of waste, reflecting the operational scale and environmental challenges of gold mining. Polyus also signed a collective commitment to reach net zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2050 or sooner.
