Annual Report

The report describes PostNL's first year of voluntary ESRS-aligned sustainability reporting under the CSRD, supported by a double materiality assessment and limited assurance. In 2024, gross Scope 1 emissions fell to 21,339 tonnes CO2e, location-based Scope 2 emissions to 18,857 tonnes CO2e and Scope 3 emissions to 266,336 tonnes CO2e, while total energy consumption was 236,262 MWh. The company continued fleet electrification and renewable-fuel deployment toward its 2030 reduction goals and 2040 net-zero commitment. Year-end headcount was 32,405 employees, with zero reported fatalities from work-related injuries or ill health.
