Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is POWERGRID's maiden sustainability report for the April 2008-March 2009 financial year and follows the GRI G3 Guidelines. It highlights more than 50,000 trees planted and Rs. 1.08 billion paid to forest authorities and conservation funds. It also reports a workforce of 8,214 employees at March 31, 2009.
