Sustainability Report

The report describes PPL's 2016 sustainability strategy across seven commitments, including cleaner energy, operational performance, workplace development and community support. It reports an initial cross-functional materiality assessment and board-level sustainability oversight. The report also highlights environmental controls, renewable-energy initiatives, energy-consumption reductions and a reported zero work-related fatalities figure excluding contractors. PPL states that the report follows GRI-G4 guidelines with the intent to be "in accordance" and includes a GRI index.
