Sustainability and Ethics Progress Report

The report covers Primark's first year of its Primark Cares strategy, with commitments across Product, Planet and People through 2030. It reports 72,000 colleagues, 2022 revenue of £7,697m, and 6,575,607 tCO2e of value-chain emissions, up 2.6% against the 2018/19 baseline. Highlights include 45% of clothing units sold meeting recycled or more sustainably sourced criteria, 95% of direct-operations waste diverted from landfill, and 252,800 farmers trained in sustainable cotton production. EY provided limited assurance over selected HSE data and statements.
