Annual Environmental Performance Report

Overview

The report presents ProCredit Holding's 2016 environmental performance across thirteen banks and four regions. It describes the continued implementation of a group-wide Environmental Management System, including environmental and social risk screening in lending and ISO 14001 and EMAS certifications for several institutions. Total energy use fell by 11% and group GHG emissions were reported at 15,036 t CO2 eq. Green finance also expanded to 7,772 loans with an outstanding portfolio of EUR 329.3 million.
