Overview

The report presents Prudential's 2017 sustainability approach as a sustainable foundation built around financial strength, customer focus, talent and responsible impact. It reports approximately 50,000 employees and sales associates worldwide, with women comprising 25% of the board. Prudential describes Board oversight, GRI Standards Core reporting and third-party limited assurance of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions. Its 2017 inventory reports 13,572 MT CO2e Scope 1, 57,055 MT CO2e Scope 2 and 11,352 MT CO2e Scope 3.
