Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Maybank Indonesia's 2017 sustainability strategy across financial inclusion, community empowerment, environmental preservation, and responsible banking. It reports 7,242 employees, of whom 54.95% were women, and highlights the R.I.S.E. program's empowerment of 503 persons with disabilities. Environmental initiatives included green banking policies, natural-dye weaving, tree planting, and the Merapi Green Cooperative. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core Option.
