Overview

The report describes BRI's 2019 sustainability-finance strategy, including issuance of a USD500 million five-year Sustainability Bond and allocation across social and green projects. It reports Rp492,874 billion, or 57.30% of total loans, as sustainable business financing. BRI also reports 91,620 employees and expanded financial inclusion through 422,160 BRILink agents. Environmental disclosures are limited: energy data covers only Jakarta Head Office, while total GHG emissions were not calculated.
