Sustainability Report

The report describes X5 Group's 2022 sustainability performance across its retail, logistics, and digital operations. It reports that Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity per square metre decreased 13.7% against 2019, even as absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions rose 8.0%. The company also increased recyclable materials to 92% and collected and donated 518 tonnes of food through Basket of Kindness. Its food-sharing pilot assisted more than 5,800 people in its first five months.
