Overview

The report presents Qian Hu's first Sustainability Report and covers employee relations, workplace safety, environmental management, community involvement, and product responsibility. It reports 550 Group employees as at 31 December 2011 and two minor work-related incidents during 2011. Environmental initiatives include sourcing over 90% of farm water from in-house rainwater catchment and reducing paper consumption by 30% by the third quarter of 2011. The report also describes ISO14001 environmental and ISO9001:2008 quality management systems.
