Overview

The report presents Raizen's 2021/2022 sustainability performance across Brazil and Argentina, including 42,309 direct employees, expanded renewable-energy operations and detailed GHG, energy, water and waste disclosures. It reports 2,409,015.36 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 49,282,716.66 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions for 2021. The company set 2030 climate commitments including an 80% expansion in renewable energy capacity and offering and a 20% reduction in ethanol carbon footprint. The report was independently subject to limited assurance by KPMG.
