Overview

The report describes RCL FOODS' 2018 sustainable-business performance across nutrition, communities, employees and resource stewardship. It reports group carbon-footprint emissions of 504,835 tons of CO2e for Scope 1, 499,514 tons of CO2e for Scope 2 and 193,303 tons of CO2e for Scope 3, alongside 5 972 Ml of water consumption. Environmental progress included converting 92% of waste into fertiliser or energy and achieving 25% electricity self-sufficiency through co-generation, waste-to-value and solar projects.
