Overview

The report describes Readly's 2022 sustainability strategy and its focus on climate-friendly digital reading, responsible content and reader empowerment. It reports that digital reading generated 87 per cent lower greenhouse gas emissions than printed equivalents and that the reduction corresponded to approximately 16,600 tonnes of CO2 eq. The report also states that 100 per cent of data hosted by AWS was powered by renewable energy and assigns overall sustainability governance to the Board.
