Overview

The report describes Readly's 2023 sustainability progress across responsible content, reader empowerment, climate-friendly digital reading, employees, ethics and governance. It reports that eight of nine sustainability targets were achieved, including a 116% increase in mobile-friendly articles and five sustainability-focused editorial campaigns. The report's climate study finds an 86 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from digital reading compared with print, while operational Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions are disclosed. It also highlights a new DEI committee, a 139-person workforce, and board-level responsibility for sustainability governance.
