Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents RIL's FY 2012-13 sustainability performance across energy, environmental responsibility, product stewardship, occupational health and safety, and social institution building. It highlights record turnover of INR 3,711.19 billion, 25.63 million tCO2e of direct and indirect GHG emissions at manufacturing divisions, and 4.31 million GJ of energy savings. The company reported 23,519 permanent employees, 1.30 million man-hours of learning, and community programmes reaching nearly 300 villages. KPMG provided limited assurance over selected report information.
