Overview

The report describes Remgro's 2024 stewardship-led ESG approach across its investment portfolio, including a qualitative climate risk analysis supporting TCFD reporting and an expanded carbon boundary covering nine entities. It reports continued use of the GHG Protocol, independent calculation and verification of the footprint, and a revised governance structure merging the Strategic ESG Committee with the Social and Ethics Committee from 1 July 2024. The report also highlights progress in employee diversity, a 163-person workforce and R35 million in CSI spend.
