Overview

The report describes how Rentokil Initial embedded corporate responsibility within five strategic thrusts and strengthened group-wide governance. In 2011, total CO2 emissions fell by 1%, while the lost time accident rate and working days lost rate improved by 16.3% and 20.7%, respectively. Workforce engagement remained a major focus, with 40,236 colleagues participating in the annual survey and over 9,000 training days delivered. The company also completed its fifth successive CDP submission and ranked in the global top ten of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index support services sector.
