Sustainability Report

The report highlights Republic Services' 2025 employee engagement score of 87 and its lowest turnover rate on record. Nine new renewable natural gas plants began commercial operations, while more than 180 electric collection trucks were in service at year-end and total fleet emissions were reported down 37% from 2017. The company also reports 22% progress toward its 35% absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions-reduction goal for 2030. New recycling infrastructure, community investment and a completed double materiality assessment are also featured.
