The report describes Rieter's 2013 sustainability performance across economic, social and environmental topics. It highlights a 15 % reduction in energy consumption relative to sales, despite total energy consumption reaching 133 000 MWh. The company reports no work-related fatalities in 2011-2013 and says 86 % of waste was recycled externally in 2013.
