Overview

The report presents the Rockwool Group's 2009 sustainability performance across climate, resource use, recycling and workplace safety. It reports a positive net carbon footprint of 4000 million tonnes of CO2, Scope 1 emissions of 1.03 million tonnes and Scope 2 emissions of 250,178 tonnes. Recycling highlights include 64,000 tonnes of stone wool waste sent to landfill and 95% of production sold or recycled. Workplace accident frequency reached 10.8 per million work hours.
