Annual Report

The report describes Rosneft’s 2019 sustainability work as focused on operational safety, carbon management and reducing environmental impacts. It reports a 73% year-on-year reduction in known fugitive methane emissions from upstream operations and more than 90% of water used in operations recycled. It also reports 3.1 million tonnes of CO2-equivalent avoided emissions from energy-efficiency improvements over 2018 and 2019, and sets a 2022 goal for lower GHG emissions per unit.
