Overview

The report presents Royal London as a purpose-driven mutual focused on financial resilience and a fair transition to a sustainable world. It reports a 50% reduction target for non-investment value-chain Scope 3 emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2050, alongside net-zero operational targets. During 2022 it launched a Group-wide sustainability learning programme and reported 7,649 tCO2e of Scope 3 value-chain emissions, 254 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, and 645 tCO2e of location-based Scope 2 emissions.
