Our Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes RWE's 2011 corporate responsibility strategy across ten action areas, including climate protection, energy efficiency, supply chain, occupational safety and community engagement. It reports 163.8 million mt of Scope 1 CO2 emissions, 72,068 employees and three fatal work-related accidents. RWE set a more than 20% reduction target for power-generation emissions intensity by 2020 and a climate-neutral power supply goal for 2050. The report reproduces PricewaterhouseCoopers assurance over selected sustainability information under AA1000AS and ISAE 3000.
