Overview

The report describes RWE's 2017 sustainability performance across its consolidated Group, including a target to reduce CO2 emissions from electricity generation by 40% to 50% by 2030 against a 2015 baseline. It reports 135.6 million mt of Scope 1 emissions, 84.0 million mt of Scope 3 emissions and three fatal work-related accidents, including subcontractors. Environmental management covered 99% of the Group in 2017, while the report also documents extensive energy, water, biodiversity and supply-chain initiatives.
