Our Responsibility

Overview

The report describes RWE's 2018 responsibility performance across climate, environmental management, workforce safety, and sustainability governance. It reports Scope 1 emissions of 120.4 million metric tons, 100% environmental-management coverage with 89% externally certified, and two fatal work-related accidents. The report also serves as RWE's progress report on the UN Global Compact and was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option. Selected sustainability disclosures and the non-financial group report received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
