Corporate Responsibility Review

The report presents S Group's 2012 responsibility programme across co-operative well-being, personnel, responsible products and services, and resource efficiency. It is the first review applying GRI G3.1 and includes a materiality matrix. Group metrics include 43,417 personnel, 1,619 gigawatt hours of electricity and heat, 1.76 million cubic metres of water consumption, and 111,000 tonnes of waste generated in Finland. It also highlights supplier responsibility monitoring and an objective for wind power to provide approximately 50% of electricity by 2016.
