The report describes Safilo’s 2023 sustainability work across product, planet and people, including SBTi approval of its Scope 1 and 2 targets in January 2024. It reports 5,595 tCO2e of market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 66% below 2022, and says 59% of energy came from renewable sources. The report also notes an expanded life-cycle assessment, 114 supplier social audits and 4,593 tonnes of waste generated.
