Sustainability Report

The report describes the company's 2011 sustainability strategy through five themes: Local Content, people, HSE, local presence and efficiency. It reports a year-end workforce of 44,232 employees and six fatal accidents, while detailing initiatives in local employment, training, health, safety and environmental management. The report also explains Saipem's emissions-estimation methodology and environmental programmes, and includes a limited assurance statement from Reconta Ernst & Young S.p.A.
