Sustainability Report

The report presents Saipem's 2019 sustainability strategy around four challenges for the energy transition, including innovation, decarbonisation, safety and shared value. It reports 2019 Scope 1 emissions of 1,405.8 kt CO2eq, Scope 2 emissions of 31.6 kt CO2eq and Scope 3 emissions of 989,221.2 kt CO2eq. The report also records three fatal accidents involving Saipem personnel and describes a materiality process, GRI Core preparation and limited external assurance by KPMG.
