Annual Report

The report describes a challenging 2012 in which Salzgitter Group external sales rose to € 10,397.2 million, while the Group recorded a pre-tax loss of € 29.4 million. Its year-end total workforce was 25,558. The report also highlights a groupwide energy-efficiency project, initiated in 2011, focused on analyzing consumption, exploring renewable energy and process-waste-heat opportunities, and improving energy management.
