The report highlights the implementation of the “Salzgitter AG 2015” restructuring program, with 76% of the estimated job-reduction potential realized by year-end. Group external sales were € 9,040.2 million and the pre-tax result improved to € –15.2 million, close to breakeven. It also spotlights KHS’s Nature MultiPack packaging technology, which uses adhesive dots instead of conventional outer packaging and was selected for the German Packaging Award.
