Overview

The report describes Salzgitter AG's 2020 group-level sustainability performance across resource use, climate emissions and workforce matters. Total energy consumption was 4,961 GWh, water consumption was 17,135 Thousand cubic meters and waste generation was 859 kt. The GHG inventory reported 7,646 kt CO2 of Scope 1 emissions, 448 kt CO2 of Scope 2 emissions and 1,375 kt CO2 of Scope 3 emissions, alongside the SALCOS decarbonization project.
