The report records Sampo Group's 2020 profit before taxes of EUR 380 million after Nordea-related losses and a Group solvency ratio of 176 per cent. Hastings became a 70 per cent-owned subsidiary and was consolidated from 16 November 2020. Year-end personnel totaled 13,178, while Sampo continued group-wide ESG integration, climate-risk work and responsible-investment activities. The report also states that a separate Corporate Responsibility Report 2020 would be published in May 2021.
