The report states that Sampo Group's SBTs were approved in November 2024, including a 42% reduction target for own-operations Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and a 57.7% per-square-meter target for selected investment portfolios by 2029. For 2024, it reports own-operations emissions of 883 tCO2e for Scope 1, 3,570 tCO2e for market-based Scope 2, and 32,516 tCO2e for Scope 3. The Group reported 14,779 FTEs at year-end. Its Board of Directors of Sampo plc is identified as holding ultimate oversight of group-level sustainability.
