Overview

The report presents Samsung Electronics' 2021 sustainability performance across climate, circularity, communities, digital responsibility, employees, and supply chain. Consolidated performance included 17,400 1,000 tonnes CO 2 e of GHG emissions, 32,322 GWh of energy consumption, 1,324,972 tonnes of waste generated, and 266,673 employees. Renewable energy use reached 5,278 GWh, while business sites in the US, Europe, and China had been converted to 100% renewable energy.
