Sustainability Report

The report describes Samsung SDI's 2023 sustainability management and performance across climate, circularity, social responsibility and governance. The company reports 1,458,880 tCO2e of market-based total emissions and 2,208,938 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions covering 12 categories. It also reports a 27% renewable-energy conversion rate, progress toward net zero by 2050, and a double materiality assessment approved through its sustainability governance structure. The report includes extensive employee, supply-chain, safety, human-rights and community programs, together with GRI, SASB and TCFD disclosures and independent assurance.
