Annual Report

The report describes 2011 as a transition year as the bank prepared for Colombo Stock Exchange listing and consolidated cooperative ownership through trust companies. Deposits grew 20.75% to Rs. 15.2 billion and lending grew 32.54% to Rs. 16.5 billion; profit after tax increased to Rs. 345 million. The bank expanded youth financial-literacy work into Uva and Central Provinces, with around 700 young people expected to benefit. The report presents these activities as part of its responsible-finance and social-responsibility approach.
