Overview

The report describes Sanoma's 2013 transformation toward a consumer media and learning company, including the Sanoma Way and a Group-wide performance framework. It reports 9,597 full-time equivalents at period end and highlights the Innovation Accelerator, in which about 700 people participated and ten ideas were financed as internal ventures. Sanoma also launched Big Data and Privacy Programmes, while its environmental disclosures include 198,200 tonnes of paper used and 53,851 MWh of energy consumed in Finland.
