Integrated Report

The report describes how the Santam group maintained resilience during a difficult 2022 marked by inflation, power constraints, geopolitical disruption and severe KwaZulu-Natal floods. It reports R29.8 billion in claims paid and a major focus on risk and community resilience through partnerships with 82 municipalities. The report also presents TCFD-aligned climate disclosures, a B CDP score and a 10% emissions and water reduction target against a 2019 baseline by 2025. Social highlights include empowering 571 black intermediaries and expanding consumer financial education.
