Annual Report

The report describes SAP’s 2009 elevation of sustainability to a strategic, long-term corporate initiative and the creation of a cross-functional sustainability organization led by its first chief sustainability officer. It reports preliminary worldwide CO2 emissions of 425 kilotons for 2009, down 15% from 2008 and achieved without offsets. SAP also states a goal to return total greenhouse gas emissions to 2000 levels by 2020, equivalent to about a 50% reduction from 2007 levels.
