Sustainability Report

The report describes SAP's 2011 sustainability progress across its own operations and social investments. Employee engagement rose to 77%, while the company reported 490 kilotons of emissions and 860 GWh of total energy consumed, with renewable energy at 47% of electricity usage. SAP also reported impacting 1,164,348 lives and employees volunteering 104,333 hours in communities worldwide. The report includes GRI G3.1 reporting, GHG Protocol-based carbon accounting and independent KPMG assurance.
