Overview

The report describes newly established global sustainability targets with 2014 as the base year and five-year targets from 2016 to 2020. It reports 52.4% renewable energy generation globally and a 16.9% five-year reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity. Safety remained a major issue, with three contractor fatalities in South Africa during the year under review. The report also describes oversight of sustainability strategy by the SETS Committee.
