Annual Integrated Report

The report highlights Sappi's 2019 diversification into packaging and specialty papers and dissolving wood pulp, alongside US$88 million of cost savings. It reports 52.93% renewable energy, 4,395,556 ton CO2 e of Scope 1 emissions and 1,608,661 ton CO2 e of Scope 2 emissions. Safety performance was deeply unsatisfactory, with four contractor fatalities in Sappi Southern Africa, while the SETS Committee oversaw selected sustainability assurance.
